What do you do? 

• Officiate at your ceremony-large or small, formal or informal, indoors or outdoors
• Design your ceremony
  Using a packet of sample ceremonies and readings. I will help you create your own personal wedding ceremony. The material you need to get started is sent out along with your confirmation letter after you book your wedding with me. Then either in person, by email, phone, or fax, I will help you create the ceremony of your choice.
• Organize your wedding party
  I will arrive at your wedding far enough in advance to organize your wedding party so that everyone knows where they are to go and how they are to get there. I also coordinate with musicians and readers, and fill out the license. If you feel that a separate rehearsal is necessary, there is an additional charge.
• File your license
  I will complete and file your paperwork with the County immediately after your wedding .

Where and when will you do weddings?

I perform weddings anywhere in Minnesota and am available anytime outside of business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Court calendars during weekdays are very heavy, but I do schedule a limited number of weddings at the Stillwater courthouse at 1:30 p.m. on the first Friday of the month.

How much does it cost?

• Normally, $150 - $250, depending on time and place, which includes everything except a separate rehearsal.
• Separate rehearsals generally cost an additional $175.
• If I have to travel to Hennepin County or more than 50 miles from the Stillwater Courthouse, I add a small fee to cover mileage and additional time.
• There is no charge for Friday afternoon weddings at the Stillwater Courthouse.

How do I arrange for a wedding?

• Call or email me to confirm availability
• Fill out the contact form
• For a paid wedding I will send you a confirmation letter and packet of ceremonies after you make a reservation.
• Select a ceremony or call me to discuss options
• Apply for a license and bring it, along with two witnesses, to the wedding

When is payment due?

• You may pay me in full on the day of your wedding.
• I accept cash or checks made ou tto "Susan Miles".
